Charity fashion sale
I couldn't believe my luck when a school friend of mine posted on her profile about a charity event. This one involves the awesome ex-supermodel, Josie Boraine (whom I adore), and a fantastic, new NGO called Chic Mamas Do Care. Besides the sale, they have opened not one, but two second hand clothing shops and trust me, they look like designer boutiques inside. They also do clothing swaps and one of the events is happening this weekend. Cant wait. For more info, check out their website at www.chicmamasdocare.org and the event on Facebook.

Madame Zingara - My 40th
I spent my 40th at Madame Zingara on the 4th. It was everything magical, mystifying, delectable and smacked of old world charm. There is even a shop to play dress up in and loads of vintage bits. I wore a black dress, vintage pearls with a baby blue vintage cardi and a black and white vintage bag.

Can you bake???
In 1929 anyone could learn how to bake for the ridiculous price of just $1.50 and because Royal Baking Powder was around at the time, you could even learn how to open any tin of Royal Baking Powder. Just goes to show.
